How much does it cost to learn to drive?
As an independent driving school, Argus School of Motoring is able to provide the best quality learner driver instruction at highly competitive rates
Argus School of Motoring believes in value for money, and aims to deliver the highest standard in professional motoring tuition at the lowest total cost to its clients.
Argus’ fee structure is quite simple. A standard driving lesson lasts for one hour. The cost per lesson is determined by the time and day of the week you choose. The fees are set out in the table below.

| Weekend lessons 3 | £26 each |
- Day lessons are Monday to Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm, the last lesson being 3:30 until 4:30.
- Evening lessons are Monday to Friday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
- Weekend lessons are Saturday from 9:30am until 4:00pm, and Sunday from 9:30am until noon.
Block booking discounts
You can benefit from a discount by purchasing blocks of lessons as follows:

Further discounts may be available for subsequent blocks of 10 lessons.
